The test server is now online and can be accessed using the host address of theboard.synchro.net:25567.  You will need to download and install the custom client below.  That zip file is the instance folder from MultiMC zipped up.  You can either set it up in MultiMC, or put the contents  of the Minecraft folder in your .minecraft folder.

Please feel free to post any suggestions or concerns for the mods on this server.

Test server updated to 1.4.5.  We lost adv solars and Mo Creatures, as they have not yet been updated to 1.4.5.  They should be done shortly.  I added wireless redstone and Balkon's weapon mod.

Below is the list of changes implemented today on the test server.  Will be deploying the new server shortly.

MCF updated to 295
Optifine switched from Ultra to Standard (might fix issues Kuges was having)
Steve's carts updated to A29
Added NEI plugins for various mods
Added Additional Pipes mod (i.e. teleport pipes)
Disabled Nuke and ITNT
Reorgnized block IDs (mostly matching FTB for map compatability)
Disabled additional sources of Copper/Tin/Silver (probably missed a few)
Added Dimensional Anchors
Added Factorization
Added Portal Guns
Upgraded Extra Biomes to 3.5.0b
Added Dungeon Pack

The update has been deployed and seems to be working well.  We will most likely have another update tomorrow as Mo Creatures was released this evening.  This will not require a new world gen.  The next world gen will be when RP is released.

NEI is pestering about a new version as well.. Also, I'd like to formally request WMLL (What's My Light Level) as a client side add-on. As you seem to be packaging the clients for us, it would be nice to have this already included..

looking through the ftb forums, there was mentions that Eloraam got flamed in one of the youtube videos, by someone, including making physical threats and using her real name. It was shortly after that that her blog "crashed". I'm not sure of the validity or the coincidence, but there might be a distinct possibility that rp2 is not going to get finished. I don't know if you have heard anything differently on the IRC channels.

If RP2 is not going to get updated, I guess we need to decide what we want to do. Do we want to do like we did with the original tekkit world, and merge the world over now, and then again when (and if) rp2 comes out? Do we want to forgo the tekkit world altogether?

On a side note, can you remove the limitation on ic2 machine upgrades please? GT limits them to 4 in a stack for the machines.

NEI was not updated as he made a breaking changes that not all of the mods had a published fix for.  So I held it out of last update.  Last night I saw that he provided another updated to NEI which made the change backward compatible, so it will be in the next client update.

I will look into putting WMLL in the next client update as well.

I have not heard about a specific You Tube video, but there is tons of whining going on IRC and MCF, but mainly MCF.  I think she just turned off the site on her own, and it will probably remain down until RP is released.  I have heard no solid information that she is stepping away from anything.  I believe we should be seeing an update soon.  From what I have heard she is currently short on time due to a new job, but is still working on bug fixes.

I'll look into the stacking limit on the machine upgrades.

Thaumcraft was released and Eloraam was back working on RP this weekend.  I will be putting together the next update when I get back in town tomorrow.

Nickel Ingots on both of my computers are not showing a graphic in inventory. I thought they had disappeared completely till I saw the number for the amount in the stack in a empty slot. This is on both computers I play on, so might be something in the pack itself. Also, this is with default textures.

Edit : Nickel Dust as well, but tiny piles of Nickel Dust still show up

Also the Cupronickel Heating Coil

And see that this is a texture pack that you have set to auto load, lol

they show up fine with soartex modded...I would manually edit your texture pack. Mojang did do something crazy in the last patch by reversing the zombie skin, it's broke just about every texture pack I've seen, that hasn't been patched for it.

Yeah, I still need to play around with some of the texture packs.  I'm going to pull them out of the next client and put them up as separate downloads.
