Just a reminder about increasing the stack size of upgrades, found in gregtech's config. Old value (pre-greg) was 16 per stack, now only 4.

Bugs / Issues / current bugs on production

Day/Night cycles are out of whack on production. It seems to be tied to server restarts instead of gametime. Yesterday morning, it was night according to the solar panels, including bluetricity solar panels. I restarted the server due to lag, and after it read as permenantly day even when gametime said it was night. Today, we are back to eternal night again.


Hostile mobs in myst worlds still aren't spawning, even tested on the test server.

beds are not currently working, if no one is on, it immediately changes the time to 6am, and says you can only sleep at night..unsure if it is setting the home flag afterwards.

./spawn and ./sethome are not working, "you do not have permission for this command"

./dynmap webregister is not working, "you do not have permission to use this command"

world 64 in test now hos meteors, before it was nausea, could be related to the eternal day/no weather flag
let me know before moving test to production to remove quarry and other psuedo-anchors

lag in production still seems to be a problem, currently we are still having to do atleast one more restart a day. Not sure if you want to automate a second restart, and make it at 12 hour intervals instead.

this mod, though nice, is a pain. I lost nearly 5 chests worth of stuff when an ogre spawned in my room, with light levels well above mob spawn range. Kuges had one that saw him through walls and a floor to destroy two barrels worth of wood stuff. On top of that, Mo creatures messes with vanilla spawn, where vanilla spawns have never been able to spawn in the mushroom island biome, I've had creepers, werewolves, ogres, and the like spawn inside that biome. With the added costs of machines, the thought that they can be reduced to nothing in a matter of seconds due to a rogue spawn of ogres or golems, or water, does not bode well with building any sort of machinery.

Plug-Ins / new mod to add

Something I noticed was missing that we had in the tekkit world was immibis' tubestuff mod. I'd like to see about getting that added in as I prefer it's buffer to the two we currently have in the game (the gregtech one that is lame, and the other one that isn't as useful).

Based on the forums, it's up-to-date for 1.4.6 (and 1.4.7) and is forge supported.

I am currently using Soartex modded textures for my minecraft experience. Some of you have used Soartex before so you know what the textures are like. They recently started development on a patcher of sorts for their texturepack. The patcher will check the modded pack that you currently have, and inject any of the extra texture (configurable) for any of the mods that the server currently runs.

only issues I had was that the mobs were not behaving at all, and couldn't break any blocks.

General / gregtech modpack 64x64 textures

This is a slightly customized texturepack addon for gregtech machines. This is a work in progress, as I hope to have the gui's expanded as well. Once you expand the zip, you can drop this into your texturepack zip file, or into your texturepack folder.

make sure that these are in a folder called "gregtechmod" inside the texture pack you use.

This is a tekkit enabled texture pack that I am using and actually like. So far, sun and kerno are also trying it out, though kerno is going to see about getting his misa pack updated for tekkit as well..in the mean time, try it out and enjoy!
